Monika Adamczak-Retecka

dr hab. Monika Adamczak-Retecka, prof. UG is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdańsk, specializing in EU Law and Comparative Law. Her research focuses on climate justice, EU liability for damages, and the Europeanization of private law.

• Biography: Habilitated in 2017 with a monograph on climate damage liability; led a National Science Centre project (2015–2017); defended her PhD on EU state liability in 2009.
