Monica Matthieu, Ph.D., M.S.W., LCSW is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at Saint Louis University. Her work focuses on improving mental health services for veterans, military service members, and their families through implementation science and clinical research. She previously worked as a clinical social worker and trauma therapist at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) New Orleans Vet Center. Her research emphasizes suicide prevention, evidence-based trauma treatments, and VA healthcare quality initiatives.
