Prof. Dr. Monica Juneja is a Senior Professor of Global Art History at Heidelberg University and Co-Director of the Cluster of Excellence 'Asia and Europe in a Global Context.' Her research focuses on transcultural art history, South Asian art, and global methodologies. She holds positions at the Heidelberg Center for Transcultural Studies and has taught globally, including at Emory University and the University of Zurich. Key achievements include the Meyer-Struckmann Prize (2023) and the Opus Magnum Award (2020) for her seminal work on globalizing art history.
