Monica Hart, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of English at West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) within the Sybil B. Harrington College of Fine Arts and Humanities. Since joining the faculty in 2006, she has specialized in Romantic and Victorian British literature, with a focus on poetry.

Research Interests:
Dr. Hart's scholarly work centers on working-class poetry, feminist theory, the Bible as literature, and Gothic literature. Her research often explores intersections of class, gender, and literature in 18th- and 19th-century Britain.
