Monica Gendi

Monica Gendi is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Mental Health Research, part of the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health at the Australian National University. Her work focuses on mental health, suicide prevention, psycho-oncology, and cognitive styles, primarily through longitudinal and clinical cohort studies.

Monica is a key researcher on the LifeTrack Project, an NHMRC-funded initiative examining transitions from suicidal ideation to attempts or remission. Her work spans clinical, social, and environmental psychology domains, with methodological expertise in meta-analysis and longitudinal modeling.
