Monica F. Rochman is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Health Systems Leadership (HSL) program at Widener University School of Nursing. She holds a PhD in Nursing Business and Health Systems from the University of Michigan (2012), along with a BSN and Nursing Diploma from the same institution and Ravenswood School of Nursing. Her expertise spans nursing leadership, evidence-based practice, and the impact of nurse work environments on patient outcomes.
Dr. Rochman previously served as Program Director for Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice at ChristianaCare, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research. Her research focuses on nurse staffing, missed care, organizational features of healthcare systems, and interprofessional collaboration. She has held clinical roles in emergency nursing and performance improvement.
