Monica E. Williams holds a PhD in Sociology and a Certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies from Texas A&M University. She is an NIH Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the RAND Corporation and currently serves as Associate Director, Vendor Management & Strategy at Taysha Gene Therapies. Her research focuses on criminology, aging in U.S. prisons, incarcerated parents, reentry healthcare for older ex-offenders, and intersectionality. She employs Geographic Information Systems and mixed methods in her work.
