Moni Naor is a Professor of Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science, holding the Judith Kleeman Professorial Chair. He is affiliated with the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. His research focuses on theoretical aspects of computer science, particularly cryptography, algorithms, and foundational computational models.
He actively advises PhD and Master's students, with current advisees including Gal Arnon, Hila Dahari, Tomer Grossman, Adar Hadad, Maya Segal, and Itai Slovatik. Former students hold positions at institutions such as IBM Research, Google, Hebrew University, Bar-Ilan University, and VMware.
Professor Naor has been recognized with the Judith Kleeman Professorial Chair for his scientific contributions. He teaches courses including Foundations of Cryptography and Randomized Algorithms, and has chaired major conferences like Innovations in Theoretical Computer Science (ITCS).
