Mona Shahriari, MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Yale School of Medicine. She completed her MD at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2011 and is actively engaged in translational and clinical research focused on inflammatory dermatoses.

Research Interests
Dr. Shahriari’s research centers on the real-world effectiveness and safety of targeted therapies for atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. She has particular expertise in biologic agents such as dupilumab, tralokinumab, lebrikizumab, and the JAK inhibitor upadacitinib. Her work encompasses drug tolerability, therapeutic sequencing, and gender-specific treatment considerations during the childbearing years.
Across eight peer-reviewed publications since 2023, she has contributed to multi-center case series and integrated safety analyses that collectively advance understanding of how novel biologics perform outside controlled trial settings. The studies span clinical pharmacology, immunodermatology, and patient-reported outcome domains.
