Mona Ligvani

Mona Ligvani, PharmD, APh, is an Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Western University of Health Sciences. She specializes in community pharmacy practice with a focus on pediatric care, women’s health, and health equity.

• Education includes a PharmD from Western University of Health Sciences College of Pharmacy, a PGY-1 Residency in Community-Based Pharmacy at USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy, and a BA in Geography from UCLA.

Her research examines pharmacist engagement in pediatric health literacy, medication adherence, and prescription safety. She advocates for patient-centered education and interprofessional collaboration in healthcare training.

Dr. Ligvani’s professional experience spans clinical pharmacy management, fertility specialty pharmacy, and compounding pharmacy roles. She holds certifications in pediatric pharmacy, travel medicine, physical assessment, and immunizations.
