Dr. Mona Giersberg is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University, specializing in Animal Welfare, Animal Ethics, and AI-based technologies for animal monitoring. She coordinates the AI & Animal Welfare Lab and contributes to the Centre for Sustainable Animal Stewardship (CenSAS).
