Dr. Molly T. McKeon is the Director of the Center for Disability Access and ADA/504 Coordinator at Rhode Island College and serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Master’s in Higher Education program at Providence College. Previously, she was Assistant Director of Accessibility at Providence College, Director of ACCESSibility at Mercy University, and a middle-high school special education teacher.
She holds a doctoral degree in Leadership for Educational Equity from the University of Colorado Denver, where her research focused on institutional adoption of Universal Design for Learning pedagogy.
Her research interests encompass:
- Disability equity and accessibility compliance in academic settings
- Universal Design for Learning (UDL) frameworks
- Culturally responsive teaching practices
- Qualitative methodologies in educational research
She has received:
- Alice A. Mitchell Ally Award (2024) from the ACPA Coalition for Disability
She directs the Center for Disability Access at Rhode Island College and serves on the board of New England’s Association of Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) Chapter.
