Molly Hines is an Adjunct Professor of Music - Suzuki Violin at Meredith College, Raleigh, NC. She maintains an active career as a professional violinist and educator. Her roles include soloist performances, chamber music collaborations, and orchestral engagements with groups like the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle and Carolina Philharmonic. She has performed internationally, including at Carnegie Hall with the Ursino String Quartet and festivals in Colombia.
Dr. Hines holds a DMA in Violin Performance from the University of North Texas, a MM from Baylor University, and a BM from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her teaching expertise spans collegiate instruction (at Baylor and UNT) and Suzuki violin pedagogy for children. She is certified in Suzuki Pre-Twinkle/Book 1 and Paul Rolland Level 1 pedagogy.
Her performance partnerships include collaborations with pianist Domonique Launey, featuring in venues like Les Issards, France and North Carolina's Music at First series. She has also conducted masterclasses in Colombia, emphasizing music education outreach.
