Mojtaba Lashgari is a Researcher at the University of Leeds, affiliated with the School of Computer Science. He is part of the computational imaging & simulation technologies in biomedicine (CISTIB) group, collaborating with Prof. Alejandro Frangi and Prof. Jürgen E. Schneider on the BQ-Minded project. His research focuses on characterizing cardiac tissue structure and vasculature using diffusion MRI, supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant.

- MSc in Biomedical Engineering, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences (2016)
His research interests include diffusion MRI, inverse problem methodologies, and signal/image processing, with prior work on convex optimization and signal reconstruction. Before his PhD, he worked as a graduate researcher at the Medical Image and Signal Processing (MISP) research center until 2018.
Grants and Funding: His PhD is funded by the EU Horizon 2020 program under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant.
Labs/Teams: Active in the CISTIB group and contributes to the BQ-Minded collaborative project.
