Leonie Paul

Leonie Paul is a Junior Researcher at LUT Business School, Lappeenranta – Lahti University of Technology (LUT), specializing in management and business studies with a focus on sustainable development. She is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie scholar and part of the REDI program, funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.

Research Interests: Her work centers on the micro-foundations of sustainability, exploring how cognitive processes influence sustainable decision-making in organizations. She investigates the knowledge-behavior gap and aims to foster inner and outer transformations necessary for systemic change. Her research integrates regenerative business development, post-growth paradigms, and well-being.

Teaching and Pedagogy: Prior to her doctoral journey, Leonie worked as a junior educator, designing transformative learning experiences. She has developed course materials on climate anxiety, sustainable entrepreneurship, and Design Thinking for Sustainable Development, continuing this educational work alongside her research.
