Moiz Karimjee is a Part-Time Lecturer at the Faculty of Law (Common Law Faculty) at the University of Ottawa. He holds a B.A. (General) from the University of Guelph (1994) and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School (1997), and was called to the Ontario Bar in February 1999.
- Acting Deputy Crown Attorney in Ottawa Crown Attorney’s Office since 2003
- Leader of Ottawa Crown Attorney’s Hate Crime Prosecution Group
- Founding member of the Ontario Hate Crime Working Group
- Author of three editions of Issues in Criminal Trials and Summary Appeal Law (2015, 2018, 2023)
