Moira Lo Bianco is an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music, affiliated with the Music Therapy and Piano departments. She is a composer, pianist, and educator who bridges concert music, improvisation, and multidisciplinary collaborations with dancers, visual artists, and institutions like the Boston Ballet. Her work explores the intersection of sound, health, and mindfulness.
- Education: Bachelor and Master in Music from Fausto Torrefranca Conservatory, BA from Tor Vergata University of Rome, and BM from Berklee College of Music.
Lo Bianco’s research spans composition, integrative sound practices, and the mind-body connection through music. She founded Integro Sonoro, a company dedicated to sound-based healing and deep listening, and serves on the advisory board of the Bioregulatory Medicine Institute. Her performances include venues like Carnegie Hall and the Newport Jazz Festival.
