Mohit Anand is an Associate Professor at emlyon Business School, France, specializing in International Business and Strategy. With a Ph.D. in Management from emlyon and an MBA from NEOMA Business School, his career spans over 16 years in academia and industry. Previously, he served as Associate Professor and head of the Centre des Marchés Emergeants at FORE School of Management, New Delhi, and worked in management and consulting roles in the insurance sector.
- Education: Ph.D. in Management (emlyon, 2012), International MBA (NEOMA, 2005), Associate & Licentiate in Insurance (Insurance Institute of India, 2002).
His research focuses on emerging markets, frugal innovation, financial inclusion, and public policy in developing economies. He explores digital financial services, reverse innovation, and geopolitical dynamics shaping India's strategic partnerships. Publications in journals like The Microfinance Review and Revue Economies et Sociétés highlight his work on microinsurance, market-building, and inclusive business models.
Recent work includes geopolitical analysis on India's Quad engagement, G20 leadership, and India-France relations, published in outlets such as Conflits: Revue de Geopolitique and The Sunday Guardian. His 2023 book chapter on the Geopolitics of Cricket in India links sports to global power structures.
