معرفی
Mohammadshahab Abdollahi is a postdoctoral researcher and scientific employee at the Brussels Photonics division of the Applied Physics and Photonics department at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). His research focuses on multi-wavelength lasers, frequency combs, and their applications in optical signal processing and THz-range communications. He holds an h-index of 23 with 23 citations as of 2022.
Abdollahi’s work emphasizes agile spectral multiplication, coherence control of frequency combs, and wavelength conversion using integrated photonics platforms. He has contributed to 12 research outputs since 2022, including peer-reviewed articles in Nature Communications and conference proceedings at SPIE and Springer. His datasets demonstrate innovative applications of InP multi-mode lasers for high-speed optical processing.
He co-advised the Master’s thesis Exploring wavelength conversion with multicolor lasers (2023) and collaborates with researchers like Marin-Palomo, Ladouce, and Virte on projects funded by Brussels Photonics. His lab work involves developing on-chip optical systems for nanosecond-scale wavelength switching and all-optical THz signal processing.
