Mohammad al-Emrani is a Professor in the Department of Structural Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. His research focuses on lightweight structures, particularly steel structures and FRP composites.
Current research areas include fatigue of steel structures, structural condition assessment, and repair methodologies. He actively collaborates with national and international organizations such as TC6-ECCS (Technical Committee 6 of the European Convention for Constructional Steelwork) and IIFC (International Institute of FRP in Construction).
