Mohammad Ghaderi is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Kansas School of Business, specializing in Empirical Asset Pricing, Macro-Finance, and Financial Econometrics. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Houston (2021), an MBA from Sharif University of Technology (2015), and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (2012). His research explores disaster risk, inflation dynamics, macro-announcements, and corporate bond pricing. He has been recognized with awards including the Eastern Finance Association Best Doctoral Paper Award (2021) and the AFA PhD Student Travel Grant (2020).
His work integrates theoretical models with empirical analysis, addressing topics like investor behavior during crises, subjective inflation preferences, and the historical pricing of corporate bonds.
