Dr. Mohammad Boshir Ahmed is a Future Making Fellow at the Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources (ISER) and the Department of Chemical Engineering at The University of Adelaide. His research focuses on developing sustainable technologies using natural polymers and carbon-based materials for applications in agriculture, energy, health, and environmental remediation. He is particularly interested in biodegradable hydrogel materials and carbon fiber composites.
Dr. Ahmed's work emphasizes innovative techniques such as plant bioelectronics to monitor plant behavior in Earth and space environments, alongside developing methods for plant disease detection, pesticide delivery, and environmental monitoring. His recent publications highlight advancements in materials science, environmental engineering, and sustainable technology.
