Mohammad Belal Talukder

Mohammad Belal Talukder is a Doctoral Researcher (PhD Student) at the Zoological Institute and Museum, affiliated with the University of Greifswald. His research focuses on the olfactory neurobiology of arthropods, particularly the ultrastructural analysis of spiders' chemosensory sensilla to understand how they perceive chemical cues.

Using advanced techniques such as Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and behavioral experiments, Talukder investigates fundamental questions about the chemical sense of spiders. His prior work during his Master's project involved characterizing the projection pathway of antennal sensory neurons in semi-aquatic bugs via staining methods and Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy.
