Mohamed ‘Arafa is a Professor of Law at Alexandria University and an Adjunct Professor of Law at Cornell Law School. He has held visiting or assistant professor roles at institutions including Prince Sultan University (Saudi Arabia), Monash University (Australia), Indiana University, and the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (Lebanon). He is also an affiliate faculty at the Rutgers Center for Security, Race, and Rights.

Professor ‘Arafa has taught and lectured globally across 15+ countries, including at Harvard Law School, the University of Chicago, and institutions in Italy, Brazil, and the Middle East. He has served on editorial boards such as the LexisNexis Journal of Law in the Middle East and previously as Managing Editor of the Arab Law Quarterly.
