Dr. Mohamed Nurullah is an Associate Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Accounting, Finance and Informatics at Kingston Business School, Kingston University. He serves as Doctoral Programme Coordinator and member of the Faculty's Research Degrees Committee. With a PhD from Cass Business School, he has led the development of postgraduate programs such as MSc Banking and Finance and MSc Investment and Financial Risk Management, achieving high student quality and employment outcomes. He has revalidated all postgraduate programs in his department and held visiting positions at Glasgow University, Westminster University, and City University.
Prior roles include Chief Examiner for the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and external examiner for UK PhDs. His expertise spans banking, risk management, fintech, Islamic finance, and regulatory governance. He actively supervises doctoral students in areas like capital budgeting, integrated reporting, and financial regulation.
Research interests include financial innovation, sustainability reporting, and regulatory frameworks, with a focus on emerging markets such as India and Sri Lanka. His publications analyze topics ranging from carbon performance impacts to post-pandemic industry recovery. He balances academic leadership with practical contributions to financial education and policy.
