Professor Mohamed Chelli is an Associate Professor at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Accounting) from Université Laval (Canada) and Université Paris-Dauphine (France), along with M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees in accounting. His research focuses on environmental and socio-environmental disclosure, climate change, water performance, human rights discourse, and sustainability ratings. He has published in journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics and Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal.

Funded research includes grants from SSHRC, the Telfer School, and the Africa Call for Accounting & Finance Research. Notable projects explore water accountability in Nigeria/Ghana and the cost of equity capital linked to corporate water performance.
