Mohamed Azouz Rebai is a Tunisian doctoral student and Early Career Researcher at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, University of Erfurt, Germany. His research focuses on political transitions and anti-corruption strategies in post-Arab Spring Maghreb countries, with work situated within the Entrepreneurship and Public Policy research area.
He holds a Master of Public Policy from the Willy Brandt School in Erfurt and previously studied Finance, Marketing, and strategic foresight at the Tunisian University of Carthage. His academic journey reflects a multidisciplinary approach to governance and policy analysis.
Rebai's research interests span political transitions, anti-corruption mechanisms, public policy formation, and political education with specific focus on Maghreb countries. His work examines how political systems evolve after revolutionary periods and how corruption can be effectively addressed within transitional contexts, particularly following the Arab Spring.

Before pursuing doctoral studies, Rebai worked as a public relations consultant within a Tunisian digital agency and served as a parliamentary assistant at Tunisia's Assembly of the Representatives of the People. He maintains active civic engagement as secretary-general of the NGO 'Forum de l'Académie politique (FOAP)' which focuses on political and civic education for youth and women in Tunisia.
His practical political experience includes participation in multiple Tunisian political campaigns and internships within various Tunisian public institutions, providing him with firsthand understanding of governance challenges in the region that informs his academic research.
