Mogens Holst Nissen

Mogens Holst Nissen serves as a Professor in the Department of Immunology and Microbiology at the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. His research focuses on eye diseases, particularly age-related macular degeneration (AMD), which is identified as the most common cause of blindness among elderly individuals in Western countries.

Professor Nissen has established a fundamental research group at the Institute for International Health, Immunology and Microbiology.
