Mo Zhang is a Researcher in the Department of Business and Management within the School of Business and Social Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark. Zhang holds a PhD in Finance and has been actively teaching finance courses and conducting research on financial markets, with a focus on emerging economies.
Zhang's educational background includes:
- Doctor of Science in Finance from Hanken School of Economics (awarded 2016)
- Master of Science in Finance from University of Vaasa (awarded 2010)
- Bachelor of Business Administration from China Institute of Industrial Relations (awarded 2008)
Research interests center on Pricing of Financial Assets, Emerging Markets, Mispricing, and Short selling. Zhang's work addresses market anomalies in China, including stock mispricing and dual credit rating systems in corporate bonds under inflationary conditions.
Zhang has participated in the SDU Finance Workshop annually from 2021 to 2024 and serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Global Information Management. Current research investigates whether dual credit ratings provide superior information compared to single-rating requirements in China's corporate bond market.
