Mitia Rioux-Beaulne is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and the Department of Philosophy. Her research focuses on French Early Modern Philosophy, with an emphasis on figures such as Descartes, Malebranche, Diderot, and Rousseau. She explores themes related to the imagination as a mental faculty, epistemology, aesthetics, and historical progress.
