Misty Schieberle is a Professor in the Department of English at the University of Kansas, specializing in 14th- and 15th-century English literature with a focus on manuscript studies, translation practices, and Christine de Pizan's influence. She teaches courses on medieval literature, Arthurian traditions, and theoretical approaches to textual analysis.

Misty's recent publications include a critical edition of Christine de Pizan’s Epistre Othea translations (Medieval Institute Press, 2020) and multiple articles in leading journals like Review of English Studies and Studies in the Age of Chaucer. She examines manuscript materiality, scribal practices, and gendered political discourse.
