Doc. RNDr. Mirko Rokyta, CSc. is the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (MFF UK) at Charles University, serving since 2020. He holds the academic rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematical Analysis (KMA). His academic career includes roles as Vice-Dean for Mathematics, Head of KMA, and various leadership positions within MFF UK. Rokyta earned his RNDr. (M.Sc.), CSc. (Ph.D.), and docent (Associate Professor) degrees from MFF UK. His research focuses on mathematical analysis, numerical methods for partial differential equations, and finite volume schemes.
