Miriam Packard da Silva

Miriam Packard da Silva is a Teaching Professor and director of the Early Care & Education Bachelor of Arts degree program in the College of Education at the University of Washington. Her work focuses on early childhood teacher preparation, equity studies, and video-based strategies for teacher learning.

Research interests include equity in early childhood education, video-mediated pedagogies, and teaching for social justice. She brings extensive practical experience as an infant, Head Start preschool, and kindergarten teacher, as well as an elementary curriculum coordinator.
