Miriam Kyselo

Miriam Kyselo is an Associate Professor in Philosophy at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She serves as a Principal Investigator in the Excellence Cluster 'Science of Intelligence (SCIoI)' and previously founded the INTERSELF Lab, integrating philosophy and psychology to study embodied selfhood and intersubjectivity.

Her research focuses on interdisciplinary theories of the embodied social self, drawing on enactive cognition and system-theoretic principles of self-organization and autonomy. She collaborates with experts in robotics, psychology, and neuroscience to explore theoretical foundations of embodied and social intelligence in both biological and artificial systems.

Key themes include 4E (Embodied, Embedded, Enactive, Extended) approaches to cognition, relational ontology, and intersections with psychiatry, psychotherapy research, and cognitive sciences.
