Miriam Feuls

Miriam Feuls serves as Assistant Professor at Copenhagen Business School's Department of Organization, co-directing the Centre for Organization and Time. Her research bridges organization studies, process theory, and cultural analysis to investigate organizational continuity and change, with empirical focus on time/temporality, creativity/innovation, and environmental/social sustainability in creative industries, food production, and life science contexts.

Feuls' scholarship examines how organizations navigate distant-future goals through path enactment, temporal folding, and material work, particularly in sustainability transitions. Her current Actionable Futures project (Novo Nordisk Foundation) analyzes corporate climate action implementation. Methodologically, she advances qualitative process research and temporal analysis.

Recent publications reveal strong thematic clusters: organizational responses to climate goals (path enactment, net zero planning), temporal dynamics in change (folding time, turning points), and sustainability transitions (nature framing, alternative futures). These works demonstrate interdisciplinary reach across organization theory, sustainability science, and innovation studies.

Feuls actively supervises BA/MA theses and Creative Business Projects while teaching Organizational Behavior and Managing Creative Organizations. Her grants include the Novo Nordisk Foundation's Actionable Futures project exploring green transitions. External engagements feature a 2024 Harvard Graduate School of Education collaboration.

As co-director of the Centre for Organization and Time, she leads research on temporal dimensions of organizing, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue on time's role in organizational phenomena through workshops and publications.
