Miranda Novak is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Zagreb, where she serves as Head of the doctoral study program in Prevention Science and Disability Study within the Department of Behavioural Disorders.
Her research focuses on prevention science and disability studies, with specialized expertise in developmental psychopathology, mental health promotion, and prevention of internalized/externalized behavioral problems in children and adolescents. She integrates clinical practice with academic rigor through courses spanning childhood psychology, prevention theory, counseling, and implementation science.
As program leader for the doctoral Prevention Science and Disability Study track, she directs advanced research on evidence-based intervention design, policy translation, and outcome evaluation methodologies within rehabilitation sciences.
