Dr. Miran Čoklo is a Senior Research Associate and Head of the Laboratory for Chemical Analytics at the Institute for Anthropological Research, Zagreb. With a background in forensic medicine and toxicology, his work spans forensic analytics, epidemiology, and pathology. He has led international projects like CFC CRO-BE (2021-2022) and contributed to unCoVer (HORIZON 2020).
- Education: Ph.D. in Biomedicine and Healthcare (2009), Doctor of Medicine (2002)
His research focuses on forensic toxicology, analytical chemistry, and epidemiological studies involving metabolic syndrome, UV radiation effects, and pandemic impacts on dietary choices. Recent publications highlight interdisciplinary approaches to laryngeal cancer prognosis, trauma management, and forensic genomics.
