معرفی
Dr. Minoo Kabirnezhad is a Research Fellow at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Imperial College London. Her work focuses on neutrino interaction modeling and computational physics, particularly contributing to the T2K neutrino experiment.
Education
- BSc and MSc in Theoretical Physics, Tehran, Iran
- PhD in experimental neutrino physics, Warsaw, Poland
- Pre-PhD scholarship, Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy
Her research spans neutrino physics, nuclear theory, and machine learning applications in physical sciences. She developed the MK model for neutrino interactions and implemented Relativistic Mean Field (RMF) theory into the NEUT event generator software.
Scientific Awards
- 1851 Royal Commission Scholarship
- ICTP Scholarship for pre-PhD program in Italy
She has supervised PhD student Jake McKean and Master’s student Grigoria Fousteri, focusing on enhancing RMF models and evaluating systematic uncertainties in neutrino experiments. Her affiliations include the High Energy Physics Group at Imperial College London.
