Minna Roh-Johnson is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Utah. Her research focuses on understanding how cancer cells hijack developmental mechanisms to regulate cell motility, utilizing zebrafish, mouse, and Dictyostelium models.
- B.Sc., Simon Fraser University
- M.Sc., Simon Fraser University
- Ph.D., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Her work explores the tumor microenvironment, cell migration, cytoskeleton dynamics, and macrophage interactions in cancer progression. She investigates how cells interpret complex signals during development and metastasis using advanced imaging and genetic modifications.
Her recent publications highlight advancements in mitochondrial transfer, Rho GTPase signaling, and macrophage-dependent invasion mechanisms. These studies span disciplines including Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, and Immunology.
