Dr. Minna Ng is an Assistant Professor of the Practice in Psychology & Neuroscience at Duke University, affiliated with Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. She specializes in STEM pedagogy, particularly team-based learning (TBL) and service learning. Her research focuses on enhancing student engagement, equity in education, and neuroscience teaching methodologies. Dr. Ng earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from UC San Diego (2007), an M.A. from UC San Diego (2006), and a B.S. from City College of New York (1999).

Dr. Ng’s publications highlight trends in adaptive teaching during the pandemic, STEM service learning frameworks, and impacts of collaborative learning on student outcomes. She has received grants from Duke’s Paletz Fund and CARADITE to develop neuroscience teaching labs and track student self-efficacy.
Awards: 2021 TBLC Best Poster Award.
She advises over 100 undergraduate students annually, mentors neuroscience research projects, and leads the Duke Team-Based Learning Lab. Current roles include faculty mentor for the David M. Rubenstein Scholars Program and contributor to Bass Connections projects on STEM education equity.
