Minji Bang is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Cambridge. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania (2022) and specializes in Labor Economics, Family Economics, Economics of Education, and Applied Econometrics. Her research explores disparities in labor market outcomes, household labor supply dynamics, and consumption behavior.
Her recent work includes a published article in the Journal of Econometrics (2023) on identifying models with latent covariates and a working paper on occupational flexibility's impact on gender gaps around childbirth (awarded Best Applied Paper, Econometric Society Australasia Meeting 2022). She collaborates with scholars like Wayne Gao, Andrew Postlewaite, and Holger Sieg.
