Minhee Jung is a Lecturer in Tourism and Events Management at the University of Plymouth, affiliated with the Plymouth Business School within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business. She serves as Programme Leader for the BSc (Hons) Events Management program. Her research focuses on stakeholder collaboration, community resilience, tourism policy, and sustainable tourism development, particularly exploring social capital and trust in community-based tourism.
Minhee holds a BA in Psychology from Chungbuk National University (South Korea), an MSc in International Events Management from the University of Surrey (UK), and a PhD from the University of Surrey, where her doctoral research examined the role of social capital and trust in community-based tourism stakeholder collaboration.
Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as Tourism Industry and Practice, Tourism Impact and Society, Research Methods, Experiential Practice, Events Management, Marketing of Events, Delivering and Evaluating Events Projects, and Psychology of Events.
