Ming-te Pan is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the State University of New York at Oswego. His research focuses on the legal, social, and economic history of Late Imperial China, with regional specializations in China and Japan. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of California, Irvine, and has taught courses such as Traditional Asia, Modern China, and Society in Late Imperial China.
