Ming Tsang is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. His research focuses on decision-making under risk, behavioral finance, and experimental economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University and dual bachelor’s degrees in Management and Psychology from the University of Georgia.

His research interests include currency crises, hedging strategies, and experimental investigations of decision rules under uncertainty. He has published in journals like Review of Behavioral Finance and Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance. His recent work examines the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and the Turkish currency crisis of 2021.
Teaching focuses on financial markets, investments, behavioral economics, and macro/microeconomics. He has authored a book chapter on experiential learning in international finance.
