Roles & Affiliations: Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences, University of Rochester. Serves as Music Director of the Chinese Choral Society of Rochester and Vocal Coach of the Taiwanese Choral Society of Rochester.

- Master’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Musicology, National Taiwan University
Research Interests: Focuses on interdisciplinary audio engineering, including spatial audio, AR/VR applications in music, audio preservation, and computational analysis of musical performances. Explores Benjamin Britten’s recordings and classical recording aesthetics through projects like binaural/Ambisonic concert recordings and 360/3D VR captures at Eastman School of Music venues.
Awards & Grants: Received the Wadsworth C. Sykes Award for developing the Interactive Music Programming course. Secured AR/VR Pilot Funding to document over 50 concerts with immersive audio-visual technologies.
Teaching & Labs: Teaches courses such as Audio Software Design I/II, Interactive Music Programming, and Revolutions in Sound. Engages in collaborative projects blending engineering and musicology, including multi-media performance programming.
