Milos Kojic is a Research Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering - Division of Nanomedicine, The University of Texas Health Center at Houston, and holds affiliations with the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, University of Kragujevac, and Harvard School of Public Health. He served as Rector of the University of Kragujevac (2001), Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (1979-1981), and Vice-Dean for Education (1975-1977). He is an initiator of the PAK software package for structural modeling and has authored 14 textbooks and 5 monographs, including publications with Springer.

Scientific awards include the Diploma of the City of Kragujevac (1994). He has held visiting positions at MIT and Harvard University, and part-time roles at the Zastava Automobile Institute (1976-2000). He serves on the Editorial Board of Computers and Structures and is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Serbian Society for Computational Mechanics.
