Milla Elisa Plit is a Doctoral Researcher and Grant-funded researcher affiliated with the Doctoral Programme in School, Education, Society, and Culture and the Department of Education at the University of Helsinki. Her work bridges educational sciences with interdisciplinary projects involving bioproducts and cultural heritage.
Her research focuses on natural dyes as cultural heritage and innovations, particularly through projects like Colour4CRAFTS (Horizon RIA) and BioColour, which explore biobased colorants and pigments. She collaborates with institutions such as the European Commission Joint Research Centre and the Academy of Finland.
Plit contributes to academic community-building as a member of the organizing committee for the Artefacta 2025 international conference, highlighting her engagement in educational and cultural research dissemination.
