Milica Micić is a Senior Artistic Associate at the Department of Wind Instruments, Faculty of Arts, University of Niš. She holds an MA in Piano from the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade (2005) and specialized studies in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade (2013). Her career spans performances as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe, including collaborations with orchestras like the Belgrade Philharmonic and Pärnu City Orchestra. She has won multiple international awards, including the 1995 San Bartolomeo First Prize and the 2001 Penderecki Award for contemporary music interpretation.
Her research interests focus on contemporary art music, innovative performance trends, and cross-disciplinary musical arrangements. She has extensive experience in chamber ensembles, percussion collaborations, and wind instrument pedagogy. Prior to her current position, she served as an accompanist at the Music School Kornelije Stanković in Belgrade (2002–2007).
