Milen L. Radell

Dr. Milen L. Radell is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Niagara University's College of Arts and Sciences. With a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from the State University of New York at Buffalo (2013), he previously served as a research scientist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and taught statistics at Rutgers University's Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences before joining Niagara University in 2016.

His research focuses on learning, memory, and decision-making mechanisms, particularly through computational modeling approaches. He also investigates personality traits contributing to vulnerability in psychopathologies such as anxiety disorders, PTSD, and substance abuse. Dr. Radell develops computer-based behavioral tasks to explore these cognitive processes and their neural underpinnings.
