Mildred Antenor is an Instructor in the Department of English at Seton Hall University, specializing in Writing, Business Writing, and Immigration Studies. She holds a Master’s in Liberal Studies from Rutgers University and graduated from St. John’s University’s Leslie H. and William L. Collins College of Professional Studies.
Her professional interests include redefining female beauty standards, mentoring, and the immigrant experience. She authored the memoir "The Gladioli Are Invisible: A Memoir," which explores the Haitian immigrant community in Brooklyn. Antenor is a social commentator featured on PBS, Fox 5, WPIX-NY, and WBGO Journal, discussing women’s issues and social topics. She is fluent in French and Haitian Creole.
Award recognition includes the McCallen Society honor from St. John’s University. Her teaching includes courses such as Business Writing and College English. She emphasizes cross-cultural perspectives and the intersection of personal narrative with societal issues.
